The Directorate of Geology and Mining is having 20 Diamond Core drill machines. Presently Directorate is undertaking prospecting for Coal, Sillimanite-Pyrophyllite, Bauxite & Iron Ore along with general survey schemes.
During field season 2014-15 prospecting work is being taken in the following areas in the State.
